October 2025

Have you ever wondered what goes on in Feed West Cork, @ The Junction, Drimoleague Methodist Church.

Let me share. The pictures are of our volunteers on October 14th, 2025. Mark was looking after the warehouse. Sean and Sandra were helping the guests choose their food. Debbie and Bernadette were offering soup & bread, stewed apple & crumble mix, a variety of fruit salad, grapes, pringles and biscuits. Coffee & Tea were available too and each week the community grows.

The café operates while Feed West Cork is open to offer a warm, safe place to anyone who is need of a warm drink and something to eat. Feed West Cork serves the people of West Cork in time of need. We open on Tuesdays from 10:30 am to 12 pm, midday

We appreciate all the donations that come through from businesses, farms and individuals. We especially love the way schools and churches want to give something to those in need. And as the churches and school celebrate with Harvest Thanksgiving Services we receive from them in abundance.

And if you wanted to add one thing to your shopping list each week to help us out: Choose from a tin of beans, a packet of teabags, sugar, tinned tomatoes or a pasta sauce, a packet of pasta or rice and sweetcorn or tuna. Drop off on Tuesdays from 9:30 am, or come later for a cuppa and a chat.
